Social Media + Writing Samples
Hi! Linda Spain here. I’m a social media manager, writer, and producer with a background in storytelling that spans journalism, marketing and branded partnerships. Most recently, I managed and created content for Michelin-starred Chef Curtis Stone (675K).
Beyond that here’s a quick snapshot of my background:
Born + raised in Los Angeles, behind a Hollywood Sizzler to be exact. I’m fluent in Spanish thanks to my Peruvian mama and I’m a proud graduate of the University of Missouri, Columbia with a degree in Broadcast Journalism.
Started my career as a local TV news reporter, developing 3 core skills I carry into every project: a conversational writing style, zippy research skills, and the ability to interview anyone (like my one-on-one interview with President Barack Obama during my time at a CBS affiliate in Nevada).
I’ve worked for big name companies like TMZ and TBWA\Chiat\Day - Backslash and had my words and work published in Condé Nast travel ads, L.A. Downtowner, Eater L.A., L.A. Taco, HANA visual content agency, gry space, and Travel + Leisure.
During my free time I love to explore my city and take followers on that ride, free of charge via my Instagram feed: @blockanimal.
